Reitmeier University

Program description

reitmeier_university_logoReitmeier University is a two-year continuing education program, developed to train and certify new Reitmeier employees in commercial HVAC services.

The program is held in the training room at our corporate headquarters. “Our student apprentices are all very eager to learn, which makes my role extremely fulfilling,” says Adam, RU instructor. “It’s exciting to hear stories from students who take what they’ve learned in the classroom and apply it in the field. I encourage students to bring up on-the-job experiences and challenges, so we can discuss as a class.”

In addition to traditional classroom instruction, each new hire is partnered with an experienced Senior Level Technician in a structured mentorship – sharing best practices for tackling real-world HVAC issues.

A new paradigm for our industry, the program was created not only to foster institutional knowledge, but also to orient team members to the Reitmeier way and culture.
